Terms and Conditions
Thank you for booking with us! We look forward to welcoming you at FINGLEN and really hope you enjoy your stay. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with Finglen Platform Ltd. Please read our terms and conditions below.
Booking Confirmation and Payments
When you submit your booking through our online reservation system you will receive an automated booking summary, to the e-mail address provided. Please check the email for any errors. Any issues must always be notified by email within 7 days following the receipt of the booking confirmation or before the start of your stay if that occurs within 7 days.
Bookings made through our website will automatically take a 25% deposit for bookings that are more than 60 days in advance of arrival. The remaining balance will be automatically collected 60 days prior to arrival.
Payment is due in full for all bookings that are made within 60 days of arrival.
FINGLEN only accepts booking from persons over 18 years of age.
Cancellations
We know that plans can change and will do our best to be flexible.
Cancellations and amendments more than 60 days in advance of check in will receive a full refund or a credit note.
Cancellations and amendments more than 30 days in advance of check in can amend the date or accept a credit note for the value of your stay. This is to be used within 12 months of the original stay date.
Cancellations or amendments 30 days or less in advance of check in will be charged the full amount of the whole stay unless we manage to resell your dates. If we are successful we will provide you with a full credit note.
If for some reason we are not able to host your stay you are entitled to a full refund, but you may choose to accept a credit note or a postponement. Please note that if you accept a credit note this cannot be refunded at a future date.
We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the event of a cancellation.

​We reserve the right to refuse any booking or cancel any bookings subject to refunding any sums you have paid without further liability on our behalf.
Arrival and Departures
Your accommodation will be available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check out time is by 11am on the day of your departure. These timings are so we can air the cabins and clean them thoroughly. On departure your cabin and the site are to be left clean and tidy. Keys must be placed back in the lock box. All rubbish is to be tidied responsibly. Please check you haven't left anything. Thank you!
Breakages and Damage
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any significant breakages or damage that you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report any incidents when they occur, we will not charge for small accidents as we know these happen (but need to know for future guests) but we reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement of larger broken or damaged items and to take payment from the banking details on file.
Please leave your cabin clean and tidy, we reserve the right to make an additional charge for excessive cleaning.
Liability
Finglen Platform accept no responsibility for injury incurred anywhere on the site or in the cabin. Swimming in the river is allowed but it is at your own risk and Finglen Platform hold no responsibility for drowning, injury or illness. Finglen Platform accepts no responsibility for the safety of, or the loss or damage to the guest’s possessions, including your car, whilst on Finglen Platform property or land.
Negligence
Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the cabins or other parts of the site caused by negligence. Tea lights and unenclosed candles are strictly forbidden inside or outside the cabins, please use glass lanterns provided. Please do not leave anything on or rested against the wood burners.
Smoking
FINGLEN is subject to strict no smoking policy inside the cabins and pollution or damage from smoking will result in a charge to ensure the cabin is returned to a satisfactory standard. Smoking outside the cabins is permitted but guests are responsible for the safe and tidy disposal of their cigarette butts, please don’t litter the surrounding area.
Children
Unfortunately we can't accommodate children at FINGLEN.
Dogs
Unfortunately no dogs are allowed due to free range animals on the site.
Noise and Conduct
No audio players are permitted outside of the accommodation. Guests agree to not act in any way which would cause disturbance to other guests or nearby residents. In exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to ask a party to leave if there is repeated noise and a request to keep things tranquil is ignored. This would mean the terms of our contract with you has been breach so there will be no refund.
Please do not invite additional day or evening guests on site without specific prior arrangement.
Services and Freezing Pipes
Finglen Platform Ltd endeavour to provide all of the utilities and services promoted on our website at all times but are not liable to pay any refund should any of these fail for reasons outside our control.
Force Majeure
We cannot accept responsibility or be responsible for compensation in a situation that cannot be avoided, foreseen or is in any way out of our control. The event may include any kind of destruction or damage through fire, flood, explosion, storm, weather damage, break in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather, war or threat, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic and any similar situation beyond the owners’ control.

Personal information provided to FINGLEN will not be shared with any third party.
